Ghenri is a small village of 1229 hectares in Desuri Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghenri depends on Rani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 36.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghenri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ghenri's pin code is 306502[4], and village code is 02459500. The area of Ghenri is segregated as 436 hectares irrigated area, 489 hectares unirrigated, the 124 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 180 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rani and Pali to sell bricks and make their living.
