Ghat is a small village of 582 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghat depends on KOTPUTLI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 168.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghat is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ghat's pin code is 301001[4], and village code is 00872400. The area of Ghat is segregated as 214 hectares irrigated area, 80 hectares unirrigated, the 61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 196 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KOTPUTLI and Alwar to sell rope making and make their living.
