Gharta is a small village of 1274 hectares in Banera Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gharta depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 6.38% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gharta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gharta's pin code is 311030[4], and village code is 02825000. The area of Gharta is segregated as 127.92 hectares irrigated area, 772.83 hectares unirrigated, the 237.01 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 135.76 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gharta is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2298 and has total administration over 418 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shahpura and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
