Ghada Salah El‑Manbawi (Arabic: غاده صلاح المنباوي; born 9 June 1969) is an Egyptian military physician and public health official. She served as President of the Egyptian Military Medical Academy from April 2020 to June 2022, holding the rank of Major General (Medical) in the Egyptian Armed Forces.[1]
Early life and education
El‑Manbawi was born in Cairo, Egypt. She graduated from Kasr Al‑Ainy Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. Subsequently, she obtained multiple postgraduate medical and military qualifications, including:
- Diploma in military medical studies for specialized officers
- Master’s degree in field surgery medicine
- Master’s degree in military science from the Command and Staff College
- PhD in national strategic healthcare planning
- Fellowship in strategic healthcare management from Cardiff University
- Postgraduate certificate from Nasser Higher Military Academy
Military career
El‑Manbawi joined the Egyptian Armed Forces Medical Services. Her assignments included:

- Koubri ElQouba Medical Complex
- Maadi Military Medical Complex

In April 2020, El‑Manbawi was appointed President of the Military Medical Academy—the premier training institution for military medical personnel—where she served until June 2022.[1]
