Geruwara is a small village of 97 hectares in Dungarpur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Geruwara depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 13.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Geruwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Geruwara's pin code is 314801[4], and village code is 03297700. The area of Geruwara is segregated as 13 hectares irrigated area, 28 hectares unirrigated, the 56 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
