Gerota is a small village of 508 hectares in Sikrai Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gerota depends on Bandikui, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 147.09% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gerota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gerota's pin code is 303502[4], and village code is 01389100. The area of Gerota is segregated as 147.09 hectares irrigated area, 58.03 hectares unirrigated, the 96.95 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 66.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gerota is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2106 and has total administration over 410 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bandikui and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
