German Aleksandrovich Korobov (1913 — 2006) was a Soviet and Russian small arms designer. He was a design engineer of the Tula Central Design and Research Bureau of Sports and Hunting Weapons (TsKIB SOO).[1]

Designs

He has developed a wide variety of models of assault rifles, self-loading rifles, light machine guns, hunting rifles, and modifications of some types of weapons.

Among them:

  • TKB-022 - a series of Soviet experimental machine configuration bullpup ,
  • TKB-059 - a prototype of a three-barreled multiple launch rocket launcher,
  • TKB-0111 - submitted to the competition "Abakan" ,

  • powder fuse for a Molotov cocktail[2]
  • compensator impact on aircraft gun load cells ,
  • revolving machine gun based on the ShKAS machine gun .

However, despite the outstanding characteristics, not a single model of the weapon of German Korobov was put into service. Some of them can be seen in the Museum of Weapons in the Tula Kremlin
