Génesis Suero (born December 17, 1991) is a Dominican model and beauty queen who won Miss New York USA 2018 and represented Barahona at the Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2019. She is now representing the Dominican Republic in Nuestra Belleza Latina 2021. She is a licensed Real Estate agent and graduated in Business Administration at Hostos Community College during the pandemic. She is currently completing a dual Bachelor's degree in Business and Journalism at The City College Of New York.
Personal life
She was born in Barahona, Dominican Republic, and is the daughter of Frank Suero and Agustina Mateo. At an early age, her parents separated, and she moved to the United States at 13. When she turned 21 years old, she became an American citizen. She has been working two jobs since the age of 15 years old while going to school to provide for herself and for her beautiful mom, who was living in the Dominican Republic.File:Miss New York USA 2018.jpg|thumb
Becoming the winner of Miss New York USA 2018 was a significant accomplishment for Suero because it was one of her many dreams for many years. She used her title to encourage immigrants across the United States to work hard to succeed in the land of opportunity how many immigrants call the United Estate.[2]
Nuestra Belleza Latina 2021
Suero auditioned for Univision's reality show and beauty pageant Nuestra Belleza Latina 2021. Génesis has remained firm in each gala of the reality show. She has been highlighted in the first chapters of the show for her personality, her perseverance during challenges, as well as for being one of the best in acting. Now she needs the support and vote of all her audience to continue participating in this season of NBL, which has already delivered two crowns to the Dominican Republic with Francisca Lachapel 2015 and Clarissa Molina 2016.[3]
