Gawariya is a small village of 230 hectares in Nawa Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gawariya depends on Nawa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 92.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gawariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Gawariya's pin code is 341509[4], and village code is 01899500. The area of Gawariya is segregated as 95 hectares irrigated area, 74 hectares unirrigated, the 26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.
