From 2022 to 2023, Gaikwad worked with T1 Advertising as Software Specialist in a technical role involving software, web development, search-engine optimization and digital infrastructure. During this period, he became increasingly interested in the technical infrastructure underlying search visibility and digital reputation.
His exposure to cases involving creators affected by unauthorized online content and leaks contributed to his interest in whether software could be used to detect, monitor and address digital identity risks at greater scale. This experience later influenced the development of Ace Reputations.
Ace Reputations
Gaurav Gaikwad began developing Ace Reputations in 2024 as a technology-led approach to online reputation and digital identity.
The company developed from his view that digital reputation was increasingly becoming an information-engineering problem. Individuals and companies could be represented across thousands of search results, websites, news publications, social networks, review platforms, images, databases and, increasingly, AI-generated answers.
Rather than treating these environments independently, Gaikwad sought to build systems capable of monitoring digital identity as a changing information environment.
Ace Reputations was subsequently incorporated in Delaware as Ace Reputations, Inc. on March 9, 2026.
Under Gaurav’s leadership, Ace expanded from online reputation and harmful-content mitigation into AI reputation intelligence, digital identity protection, privacy, search intelligence and generative-AI visibility.
Gaikwad has described the company's broader thesis around the idea that “reputation is the new currency” and that online identity increasingly affects trust, business relationships and how people and organizations are interpreted by both humans and AI systems.[6]
Proprietary AI and digital identity technology
As founder, Gaikwad has led the development and commercialization of Ace Reputations' proprietary technology infrastructure, designed to apply artificial intelligence, data analysis and information intelligence to digital reputation, identity and online trust.
The company's proprietary technology suite includes:
- AceEye - an AI-powered reputation intelligence and monitoring system designed to identify online information, emerging signals and potential risks associated with an individual or organization's digital identity.
- AceTrack - a proprietary search and visibility intelligence platform used to monitor keywords, online mentions, search positioning, discoverability and changes in digital presence over time.
- AceGuard - a digital identity and privacy-protection system focused on identifying and monitoring personally identifiable information, privacy exposure, unauthorized content, impersonation and other digital identity risks.
- AceTruth - an information-intelligence system designed to identify and organize potentially inaccurate, misleading, manipulated or conflicting online information for analysis and human review.
- AceRank AI - an AI search visibility and prompt-intelligence platform developed to analyze how individuals, brands and companies are represented across generative-AI and answer-engine environments. It examines factors including prompt-level visibility, competitor presence, citations and source patterns, sentiment, visibility depth and information gaps.
Together, these technologies form the core of Ace Reputations' proprietary AI and digital identity infrastructure, extending reputation intelligence beyond conventional search and online monitoring into generative-AI systems and emerging answer engines.[7]
Clients and commercial applications
Ace Reputations' technology and services have been used in engagements involving founders, executives, creators, public figures and businesses.
His work has included reputation and digital identity matters involving former Fortune 500 executives and publicly traded companies.
Among his clients is Alex Molinaroli, former chairman and chief executive officer of Johnson Controls. Gaikwad's work with Molinaroli involved digital reputation and identity matters concerning historical online narratives and the visibility of information relating to his executive career, philanthropy and public work.
Gaikwad has also led work involving a Nasdaq-listed company dealing with disputed online allegations.
The engagement included analyzing the information environment surrounding the company, identifying sources propagating the disputed narrative, addressing eligible online material, monitoring search visibility, strengthening the discoverability of authoritative information and examining how the company was represented across emerging AI search and answer platforms.
The company's commercial work has consequently provided Gaikwad with a testing environment for applying AI and information-intelligence systems to reputation and digital-identity problems affecting individuals and organizations.
Funding, ownership and valuation
In 2026, Ace Reputations raised its first seed investment led by Spectrum Business Ventures at a US$15 million post-money valuation. Ace publicly announced the financing as supporting continued development of its proprietary technology and international expansion.
Later in 2026, Phoenix Holding Incorporated, led by James Pomeroy, participated in Ace Reputations' extended seed financing.
The transaction involved a US$300,000 equity investment and valued Ace Reputations at approximately US$30 million on a post-money basis.
The investment was intended to support further development of Ace's artificial-intelligence infrastructure, SaaS technology, enterprise expansion and applications involving digital identity and digital assets.
According to published estimates, Gaikwad's personal net worth is estimated at approximately US$28 million, with a significant portion of his wealth associated with his interest in the privately held Ace Reputations.[8]
