Gauhani Khurd is a small village of 469 hectares in Auraiya Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gauhani Khurd depends on Navanpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. The area of Gauhani Khurd is segregated as 12 hectares irrigated area, 111 hectares unirrigated area. the 257 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 89 hectare area not available for cultivation.
