Garhi Sukkha is a small village of 362 hectares in Bari Tehsil in Dholpur district, also known as the land of red stone in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Garhi Sukkha depends on BARI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Garhi Sukkha is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Garhi Sukkha's pin code is 328041[3], and village code is 01127300. The area of Garhi Sukkha is segregated as 105 hectares irrigated area, 227 hectares unirrigated, the 11.8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
