Gareeya is a small village of 264 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gareeya depends on Galiakot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Gareeya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gareeya's pin code is 314030[4], and village code is 03350900. The area of Gareeya is segregated as 58 hectares irrigated area, 6 hectares unirrigated, the 160 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Galiakot and Dungarpur to sell ghee and make their living.
