Gara Nathji is a small village of 334 hectares in Aspur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gara Nathji depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Gara Nathji is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gara Nathji's pin code is 314021[4], and village code is 03324000. The area of Gara Nathji is segregated as 115 hectares irrigated area, 11 hectares unirrigated, the 28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 180 hectare area not available for cultivation.
