Ganpatpura is a small village of 442 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ganpatpura depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Ganpatpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ganpatpura's pin code is 323001[3], and village code is 02760900. The area of Ganpatpura is segregated as 140.05 hectares irrigated area, 26.4 hectares unirrigated, the 72.23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 48.77 hectare area not available for cultivation.
