Ganipur is a small village of 111 hectares in Sikrai Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ganipur depends on Bandikui, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ganipur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ganipur's pin code is 303508[4], and village code is 01385300. The area of Ganipur is segregated as 89 hectares irrigated area, 7 hectares unirrigated, remaining 15 hectare area not available for cultivation.
