Gangati Kalan is a small village of 787 hectares in Dudu (Hq. Mauzamabad) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gangati Kalan depends on Bagru, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gangati Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gangati Kalan's pin code is 303009[4], and village code is 01520900. The area of Gangati Kalan is segregated as 34 hectares irrigated area, 538 hectares unirrigated, the 84 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 131 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bagru and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
