Gangardi is a small village of 745 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gangardi depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gangardi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Gangardi's pin code is 341510[4], and village code is 01830500. The area of Gangardi is segregated as 401.92 hectares irrigated area, 268.31 hectares unirrigated, the 38.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 36.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
