Gangar Talai is a small village of 429 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gangar Talai depends on Dohad (Gujrat), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Gangar Talai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gangar Talai's pin code is 327601[4], and village code is 03480900. The area of Gangar Talai is segregated as 12 hectares irrigated area, 319 hectares unirrigated, the 45 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52.83 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gangar Talai is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3867 and has total administration over 730 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dohad (Gujrat) and Banswara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
