Gangapura is a small village of 373 hectares in Fatehpur Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gangapura depends on Ramgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gangapura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gangapura's pin code is 331024[4], and village code is 01659800. The area of Gangapura is segregated as 5 hectares irrigated area, 309 hectares unirrigated, the 48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11 hectare area not available for cultivation.
