Gandhaw Kalan is a small village of 636 hectares in Gudha Malani Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gandhaw Kalan depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 13.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gandhaw Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Gandhaw Kalan's pin code is 344031[4], and village code is 02198600.
