Gamri is a small village of 414 hectares in Aspur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gamri depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 7.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gamri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gamri's pin code is 314022[4], and village code is 03330900. The area of Gamri is segregated as 7 hectares irrigated area, 172 hectares unirrigated, the 114 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 121 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gamri is a census village in the district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2069 and has total administration over 433 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sagwara and Dungarpur to sell bamboo items and make their living.
