Gambhirvan is a small village of 1376 hectares in Azamgarh Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gambhirvan depends on Azmatgarh (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gambhirvan's pin code is 276128[4], and village code is 08660300. The area of Gambhirvan is segregated as 445 hectares irrigated area, 341 hectares unirrigated area. the 227 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 363 hectare area not available for cultivation.
