Galwani is a small village of 421 hectares in Kushalgarh Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Galwani depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Galwani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Galwani's pin code is 327801[4], and village code is 03515700. The area of Galwani is segregated as 8.08 hectares irrigated area, 56.07 hectares unirrigated, the 17.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9.48 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Galwani is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 614 and has total administration over 128 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
