Galina Nikiforovna Maslyakova is a Russian pathologist and a professor at Saratov State Medical University. Currently she is the head of the Pathlogical Department of the Saratov State Medical University.[1].
Education
Galina graduated from the Saratov State Medical University in 1981.[2]
In 2004 Galina defended her comprehensive dissertation on "Pathomorphology of disseminated intravascular coagulation"[3] and received the Doctor of Science degree[4].
Career
In 1988, gained an assistant position at the Department of Pathological Anatomy in Saratov State Medical University. In 2002, Galina became an associate professor at the same department. In 2006, Galina has become the head of the department [4].
Galina is the author of more than 90 scientific works and publications[5]. One of her scientific contributions includes research toward tumor phototherapy using gold nanoparticles [6][7].
