Gajoowas is a small village of 948 hectares in Taranagar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gajoowas depends on TARANAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Gajoowas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. Gajoowas's pin code is 331304[4], and village code is 00576300. The area of Gajoowas is segregated as 874.75 hectares unirrigated, the 34.36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 38.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
