Gajani is a small village of 427.9 hectares in Banda Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gajani depends on Tindwari (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gajani's pin code is 210123[4], and village code is 04789700. The area of Gajani is segregated as 108.43 hectares irrigated area, 292.96 hectares unirrigated area. the 15.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 11.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tindwari (NP) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
