Gadrata is a small village of 2435 hectares in Khetri Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gadrata depends on KHETRI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gadrata is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gadrata's pin code is 333501[4], and village code is 00734200. The area of Gadrata is segregated as 153 hectares irrigated area, 682 hectares unirrigated, the 321.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 520.15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gadrata is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3226 and has total administration over 584 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHETRI and Jhunjhunu to sell earthen pot and make their living.
