Gadara is a small village of 191 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gadara depends on Bhawani Mandi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 30.35% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Gadara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gadara's pin code is 326501[4], and village code is 04095700. The area of Gadara is segregated as 43.17 hectares irrigated area, 92.41 hectares unirrigated, the 47.87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 7.16 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhawani Mandi and Jhalawar to sell bricks and make their living.
