Gadapat is a small village of 285 hectares in Todaraisingh Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gadapat depends on Todaraisingh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gadapat is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gadapat's pin code is 304505[4], and village code is 02651600. The area of Gadapat is segregated as 17 hectares irrigated area, 220 hectares unirrigated, the 35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13 hectare area not available for cultivation.
