Gabrielle Amani Williams. (born April 17, 1995), known professionally as Gabrielle Amani, is an American CEO, and Editor in Chief of MEFeater Magazine.

Early Life

Gabrielle is of Jamaican and Panamanian descent. Born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in Bedford Stuyvesant and spent four years growing up in Atlanta, Georgia.

Prior to 2012, Gabrielle worked as a Marketing Director for Wall Street-based hospitality company, Merchants Hospitality, Gabrielle interned and freelanced with VS Magazine, Calypso St. Barths, J. Crew, Burberry, and American Apparel building relationships with stylists, designers, etc that would later serve as inspirations for her work at MEFeater. Gabrielle wanted to create a magazine for millennials and Gen Z to relate to.[1]. MEFeater continues to put content around music, entertainment and fashion (MEF) with digital cover stars like Jayda Cheaves, Saucy Santana[2], Lynn Whitfield, Karen Civil, Rubi Rose, Baby Tate and more. Her success in media at such a young age[3] makes her an ideal guest for interviews and podcasts[4], inspiring aspiring creatives and entrepreneurs[5]

Gabrielle Amani founded MEFEATER magazine in 2012 to amplify diversity within the fashion space.[6] MEFeater (pronounced METH-eater) is an independent magazine focusing on fashion, entertainment, and music, based in New York City and Atlanta. In 2022, inspired by Rip The Runway, Gabrielle took the magazine to new heights by creating her first ever NYFW showcase with women designers[7] and musical acts, all in front of a live audience.
