Beach Soccer Career
Real Münster
In 2013, Mohagheghi founded Real Münster,[5] a beach soccer club based in Germany. The team won the Beach Soccer World Cup in 2022[6] and was ranked as the number one beach soccer club globally in 2024.[7]
International work
In 2016, Mohagheghi was invited to Senegal to support the development of the country's beach soccer program.[8] Senegal had established a national championship in 2016 and launched what was, at the time, the largest beach soccer academy in Africa.
In 2020, Mohagheghi was appointed as the head coach of the Luxembourg national beach soccer team.[9] His role includes leading the team's technical development and preparing them for international competitions under the supervision of the Luxembourg Football Federation.
His work on beach soccer has been recognized internationally for its impact on coaching and team development. His contributions have attracted attention from media outlets beyond Germany, including an interview featured in a Russian sports magazine, where he discussed training methodology and the growth of the sport[10]
