Functionize provides an autonomous testing platform that accelerates test creation and test maintenance.[1][2][3]

History

Functionize is a software testing company founded by Tamas Cser in 2015 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. It provides software test automation powered by AI and machine learning.

Functionize's intelligent testing platform leverages natural language processing, machine learning, and computer vision technology to ease test creation, maintenance, and execution. It offers integrations to tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Jira, Slack, and PagerDuty to enable DevOps. Functionize's proprietary machine learning algorithms are modeled from millions of data points collected from application UI, so that as the UI changes, tests are less prone to break. Thousands of tests can be executed in minutes using virtual machines across browsers (like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) and operating systems including Android and iOS browsers.

In 2020, Functionize was recognized by Gartner as a Cool Vendor in Agile and DevOps.[9]

In 2019, Functionize was recognized by Alconic as Best in Corporate Innovation in AI.[10]

In 2019, Functionize raised $16 million in Series A funding from Canvas Ventures.[11]
