Frende Forsikring is a Norwegian insurance company with headquarters in Jonsvollskvartalet in Bergen. The company was founded in 2007 and consists of the holding company Frende Holding AS and the subsidiaries Frende Skadeforsikring AS and Frende Livsforsikring AS.[1]
Frende Forsikring's is owned by independent, local savings banks and financial institutions. The distribution network includes over 20 banks and partners that cover wide geographical parts of Norway. The largest shareholder is Sparebanken Vest.
Frende offers private and business solutions in both general and life insurance, mainly private lines, and smaller commercial risks.[2]
