Frank Parrillo (born October 19, 1963) is an American film producer, actor, and acting instructor. He is best known for founding DreamTraxx Academy and for producing independent films such as Project: Puppies for Christmas and 1 Interrogation. Parrillo has trained actors such as Michael Cimino and Jalen Thomas Brooks.
Early Life and Education
Parrillo was born in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in Monrovia, California.[1] He served in the United States Army from 1984 to 1990.[2]
Career
Acting and Producing
Parrillo has produced over 60 projects, including films, television episodes, and training films.[3] He co-founded 1 Media Productions, a film production company responsible for Project: Puppies for Christmas and 1 Interrogation, starring Tom Arnold.[4]
Teaching and Coaching
Parrillo is the founder of DreamTraxx Academy, where he teaches acting techniques specializing in on-camera performance, green screen acting, and emotional mastery.[5] Notable students include Michael Cimino, known for his lead role in Love, Victor, and Jalen Thomas Brooks, who has appeared in ABC’s Rebels and CW’s Walker.[6]
Industry Affiliations
Parrillo is a member of the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and the Producers Guild of America (PGA).[7] He has served on the education committee of the Producers Guild, contributing to industry training initiatives.
