Frank Jackson won the first ever World Championship World Horseshoe Championship held in Bronson Kansas in 1909.[1] and went on to win the World Horseshoe Pitching Tournament at total of 13 times: 1909, 1910, 1911, 1912, 1913, 1915, 1920, 1924, and 1926."Frank Jackson, Kellerton, IA". The his last World Tournament in Moline, Illinois in 1935, the 65-year old Jackson finished fifth with a 72.9 ringer average.[2]
