Forte Chocolates is a luxury chocalate comapny located in Mount Vernon, Washington. Founded in 2006 by Karen Neugebauer, the company competes every year in national and international competitions.[1][2]

History

Chef Karen Neuberger established her business in 2006, soon after graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle’s Baking & Pastry program. While in school, she developed a passion specifically for craft chocolate and dedicated her professional career to it as a Master Chocolatier. She follows an artisan approach and along with her staff produces everything by hand.[3]

Products

Forte Chocolate creates products in six different categories: Craft Chocolate, Bars, Truffles, Caramels, Barks, and Drinks. They also offer personalized gift boxes and collections.[4]

Awards

Most recently, Karen Neugebauer was awarded the America's Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards in the 2109 International Chocolate Awards.[1] At the same competition in 2018 she was awarded the World Gold in 2018 for her Sea Salt Caramel in Milk Chocolate as well as the Rosemary Orange Caramel.[2]
