Forte Chocolates is a luxury chocalate comapny located in Mount Vernon, Washington. Founded in 2006 by Karen Neugebauer, the company competes every year in national and international competitions.
Chef Karen Neuberger established her business in 2006, soon after graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle’s Baking & Pastry program. While in school, she developed a passion specifically for craft chocolate and dedicated her professional career to it as a Master Chocolatier. She follows an artisan approach and along with her staff produces everything by hand.
Forte Chocolate creates products in six different categories: Craft Chocolate, Bars, Truffles, Caramels, Barks, and Drinks. They also offer personalized gift boxes and collections.
Most recently, Karen Neugebauer was awarded the America's Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards in the 2109 International Chocolate Awards. At the same competition in 2018 she was awarded the World Gold in 2018 for her Sea Salt Caramel in Milk Chocolate as well as the Rosemary Orange Caramel.
