Filip Sedić is a Bosnian-born Swedish inventor and entrepreneur residing in Asia.[1][2] He is the Organizational founder of the Swedish beauty brand Foreo[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] and co-founder of the sex-toy brand LELO.[2][9][10][11][3]

Early life

Filip was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His father was an engineer in telecommunications and his mother studied biology and chemistry. She ended up as the head of the computer centre at Sarajevo University. His father was extremely interested in technology and a believer in it. Filip had early access to computers which made an influence on the way he thinks. He studied engineering and graduated from the University of Zagreb.[1][2][12]

Career

Filip started his career in marketing when he founded a digital marketing agency in Stockholm in 1995. He was a research and development manager for another company that developed and tested ABS systems for major automotive companies. He then moved to the position of Senior project manager in telecommunications giant Ericsson where he led the development of early mobile 3G networks coordinated project resources globally. In the meantime, he went into the intimate health and well-being industry when he co-founded sex-toy brand LELO in 2003. He continued his dedication to the intimate health industry when he founded the Intimina brand in 2009. His research and development experience made him invest himself more into the well-being industry when he founded Foreo in Stockholm in 2013, a company that currently employs more than 3.000 people around the world.[13][12][3][14][15][4][16][6][7][8]

Today, Filip is one of the richest foreigners living in China.[17][18] His estimated net worth is $400 million. He has more than 30 years of R&D (Research and Development) experience and more than 200 patents in his name.[19][3][20][21] He currently holds the position of the CIO (Chief Imagination Officer) at Foreo where he also acted as the CEO for one period.[1][14][22][23][24][25][7][8]

Personal life

Filip is married to Ivana who also inspired him to create the flagship Foreo product named Luna. He has three daughters aged 7, 11 and 15.[1]
