Comics and cultural activity
Sosa has been an important figure in the comics scene of Córdoba. He organized the program "Comicazo" at the Córdoba Book and Knowledge Fair in 2014 and 2015, helping to promote comics as a relevant cultural element.[2] He also coordinated the "Humor Day" in 2015 at the Córdoba Cultural Center and the "Kidcómic" festival in 2016.[3]
Support for comics legislation
In 2012, Sosa proposed a national law to promote and protect Argentine comics.[4] The proposal was submitted to the Argentine National Congress under protocol number "Expediente 0502-D-2014". Although the bill was not approved, it highlighted the importance of comics in Argentine culture.
International collaborations
Sosa has worked with several international publishing houses, including Barricada Cómics in Argentina and Wi-Fi Digital Press abroad, collaborating with artists from Latin America and Europe.[5]
Work in animation
Since 2022, Sosa has worked as a storyboard artist for the animated series Booba, produced by the British studio 3D Sparrow and distributed worldwide on Netflix.[6] The children's series is known for its comedic style and lack of dialogue, focusing on the adventures of a curious character in everyday situations. Sosa's contribution has been essential to the production of the most recent episodes.
