Femi Adeoti is a Nigerian technology executive, entrepreneur, and business leader. He is the Co-Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Routelink Group, a Nigerian-based company operating across telecommunications, enterprise technology, and digital payments. Adeoti is known for his leadership in promoting innovation, financial inclusion, and digital transformation across Africa.[1]

Early Life and Education

Adeoti earned a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University. He holds an MBA in International Finance from the University of Liverpool, completed executive education at Harvard Business School, and earned a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Career

He began his professional career at Comtec Systems in the United States, later working with the Computer Warehouse Group. At Cisco, he served as Head of Regional Business for West Africa and received the Chairman’s Club award for outstanding performance.[2]

He later became Managing Director/CEO of Inlaks Africa, where he led business expansion and digital transformation efforts across several African countries.[3]

In 2018, Adeoti co-founded Routelink Group. Under his leadership, the group has expanded into telecommunications (Routelink Telecom), enterprise IT (Routelink Enterprise), and digital payments (Routepay). Routelink holds a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) license from the Nigerian Communications Commission and a Payment Service Provider license from the Central Bank of Nigeria.[4]

Thought Leadership and Advocacy

Adeoti has been a vocal advocate for cashless payment systems and increased financial access in Nigeria.[5]

He has encouraged businesses to adopt multichannel communication strategies,[6] and promoted the role of MVNOs in improving affordable connectivity.[7]

Through Routepay, he advocates for digital financial tools to support underbanked communities and MSMEs.[8]

He has also spoken about the growing importance of cybersecurity and digital resilience in the face of evolving threats.[9]

In 2019, Adeoti received the "Top CEOs & Next Bulls Award" in recognition of his leadership in technology and business innovation.[2]
