History

Founded in 2016, Felene Vodka was established with the intent of creating a high-pH, organic vodka sourced from sugarcane juice. The decision to base the company in Denver, Colorado, was influenced by the region's suitability for a high pH water supply.[2]

Production Process

Felene Vodka utilizes organic sugarcane as the primary sugar source for its vodka, setting it apart from many traditional grain or potato-based vodkas. The main source of sugar in sugarcane juice is sucrose, which is well-suited for ethanol fermentation[3]. The distillation process employs a reflux column still, a method known for producing a pure and refined spirit[4]. This process is key to the brand's signature product quality profile. Felene vodka is charcoal filtered by a proprietary solid carbon block filtration system (Lenticular filtration)[5]. Each bottle of Felene Vodka is sparged with nitrogen gas to in an effort to retard oxidation. All Felene products are made from organic, Brazilian sugarcane. All products are 40% alcohol (80 proof) and are free of any sweeteners or citric acid.
