Fatehpura is a small village of 595 hectares in Jaipur Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Fatehpura depends on Chomu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 283.78% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Fatehpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Fatehpura's pin code is 303007[4], and village code is 01487700. The area of Fatehpura is segregated as 283.78 hectares irrigated area, 186.81 hectares unirrigated, the 3.46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 101.01 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chomu and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
