Fatehgarh is a small village of 226 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Fatehgarh depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Fatehgarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Fatehgarh's pin code is 323025[3], and village code is 02701500. The area of Fatehgarh is segregated as 76 hectares irrigated area, 60 hectares unirrigated, the 36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 53.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell earthen pots and make their living.
