Fatapura is a small village of 336 hectares in Raniwara Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Fatapura depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 19.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Fatapura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Fatapura's pin code is 343039[4], and village code is 02337600. The area of Fatapura is segregated as 139 hectares irrigated area, 32 hectares unirrigated, the 97 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell shoes and make their living.
