Fartash Syed (15 April 1967- ) is a famous and well published Urdu Poet, Writer, and an Academic. He is a celebrated writer of modern Urdu poetry. He is known to be a multi-talented writer, poet, academic, and Urdu calligrapher.
Born on 15 April 1967 in Luddan Town, Vehari District, Fartash completed his B.A degree at Government College Luddan. He later completed his postgraduate studies at Bahauddin Zakariya University, acquiring Masters, Mphil and PHD degrees in Urdu literature.
Fartash has been teaching Urdu literature internationally and at universities in Pakistan for the past 20 years. He is also the president of the Global Urdu Literature Award.[1] and a prominent literary organisation known as “Majlis-e-Frogh-e Urdu Adab”[2][3]
