Faraz Khosravi Danesh ( فراز خسروی دانش) is an Iranian conductor. Damour vocal Band led by him won the award of Fajr International Music Festival.[1] Damour vocal Band led by him Nominated for Best Composer by barbad awards[2] at Fajr International Music Festival.[3]
Faraz Khosravi Danesh is a tutor at the university, founder and conductor of Damour Vocal Band and a member of composer’s community of musician’s house.[4]
He was born in a musician family. His father Bahram Khosravi Danesh is a violin player and writer of the book “Iranian music history through time”. He also was the head of boys’ music school.
Faraz Khosravi Danesh started music with playing Tombak at the age of 2, and learned music from masters of Iranian music such as Faramarz Payvar, Mohammad Esmailie, Majid Hesabie and Bakhshi.
At the age of 15 entered the music school and continued his learning’s from Dr. Arbi baboumian and Hovik Baghoumian and gained his music diploma. He graduated in B.A from University of applied science and technology of Tehran.
He learned piano performance from Amir Sarraf and prof.Tamara Dolidze.
He also learned music composition and orchestration from the masters such as: Taghie Zarrabi, Masoud Ebrahimi, Arman Norouzi, Kambiz Rowshanravan , Karen Keyhani and Ali Montazerie.[5][6]
