His Worship Fale Andrew Lesa JP is an elected member of Auckland Council.[1] for the Manurewa ward, home to over 100,000 constituents. Auckland Council is the largest local authority in all of Australasia. He is also an elected member of the Wiri Licensing Trust[2] and a former elected member of the Manukau City Council[3]

Fale was previously an elected trustee and deputy chairman of Manurewa High School for over ten years[4], one of the biggest schools in New Zealand. He was also a government-appointed director at Manukau Institute of Technology and UNITEC[5]. Fale remains a director of the crown with appointments at ACC[6], the Real Estate Authority, and the Ministry of Health[7]. He is the immediate past vice chairman of the Auckland Conservation Board[8]. Fale has been published by Georgetown University in Washington DC[9] and the New Zealand Medical Journal[10].

Fale was a keynote speaker at COP13 in China[11], Women Deliver 2019 in Canada[12], the Asian Development Bank's annual meeting in 2019, and EarthX 2023 in the United States of America.
