Evaly is a Bangladeshi technology company that specialises on e-commerce, food & grocery delivery, classifieds, accounting & inventory solutions and other logistics.
History
The company was founded by Mohammad Rassel in December 2018[1]. As of July 2020, Evaly is recorded to have more than 3.5 million registered users and over 10,000 small and medium entrepreneurs on its platform.
Operations
The company has an one-stop website with all of its services available on the platform. The company released its Android-based app for smartphone users six months from its operation, followed by its iOS App in 2020[2].
Evaly’s website includes social factors such as “Newsfeed” with plans to add “Evaly Connect” soon[3].
Strategy
Evaly's strategy includes creating a social factor around its services to add people who were not using e-commerce sites previously.
Services
Evaly Express: In March 2020, Evaly launched Evaly Express Shop[4][5] service that delivers groceries and medicines for consumers. Initially, it did not include perishable items such as meat and fish; later, it was added to its service.
Evaly Food Express (eFood): Evaly released its on-demand food delivery service, eFood[6], on 18 June 2020. The purpose of the service is to ensure that consumers receive delivery from selected restaurants at their convenience.
ebazar: An online selling platform under the jurisdiction of Evaly where anyone can sell their personal belongings and consumers can buy from them without any commission. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha 2020, eBazar enabled sellers to sell sacrificial animals on their platform to control the spread of Covid-19[7][8].
eKhata: An accounting and inventory solution developed by Evaly to help people keep track of their business or personal transactions with the help of automation.
