Eva Mitchell is an educational leader from Boston, MA. She is the current CEO of the Coalition for Career Development Center, which partners with leaders across multiple sectors to prioritize career readiness for students.[1] In 2023, she was recognized as one of "Boston’s most admired, beloved, and successful Black Women leaders" by the Black Women Lead project.[2][3][4]

Education

Mitchell received her B.A. from Harvard University and her master’s in education from Boston University, where she was a recipient of the university-wide Martin Luther King Fellowship.

Career

In 2016, Mitchell was appointed director of the Boston Public Schools' partnership with General Electric.[5]

From 2017 to 2019, she served as the Deputy Chief of Education for the City of Boston.

On November 4, 2025, she launched ALLready, a new extension of the Coalition for Career Development Center designed to accelerate learners and leaders across industry, education, government, and communities nationwide.[1]
