Creative biography

Early life and education

Since childhood, the writer has been passionate about literature, writing poetry and prose from the age of six, and participating in creative competitions. She graduated with honors from the Belarusian State University.[1] in Journalism, after which she worked for several years as a screenwriter, correspondent, and author of her own projects on television. She also worked as a literary editor and freelance journalist for various magazines and newspapers in Belarus. Additionally, she has an economic education from the Belarusian State Economic University[2]

Being a "golden" medalist of a technological gymnasium, she entered its history by writing the lyrics and music for the school's anthem at the age of 15.

Additionally, Ismailova had previous experience working in the sphere of International Relations and Politics. For 5 years, she was working for the Embassy of Azerbaijan as a Press Attaché. Not only that, but she has joined numerous United Nations Development projects[3] in Belarus, Minsk, whilst being still present in her writing process.

Writing Career

In 2010, she published her first children's book, "The Amazing Adventures of Little Mouse Pip[4]" (published by "Literature and Art"), addressing the theme of sincere childhood friendship. The young writer entered the world of children's literature as a follower of the tradition of classical upbringing based on principles of love, kindness, and respect for loved ones and those in need of support. The sequel to this beloved children's story, "Little Mouse Pip's New Year Adventures," saw the light of day eight years later. In 2020, the author released the jungle tale "Amal: Princess of Selva," with its continuation promised by the author's agent in the near future.

For many years, being passionate about culinary arts, the writer started a culinary blog. Being the spouse of a diplomat, she was forced to move from one country to another, gaining new knowledge about the cultures and traditions of different regions of the world. In 2019, her artistic-culinary book, "Marta May's Culinary Diary[5]," was released, based on stories written for culinary publications during her stay in Central Asia. A year later, the author Esmira and her family moved to Istanbul[6], opening a new chapter in her creativity dedicated to this extraordinary city. Consequently, one after another, her literary works "On the Banks of the Bosphorus" (2020, "EKSMO")[7] and, a year later, "Gossip of Istanbul" (2021, "EKSMO")[8] were published. The books were successfully reissued, and in 2024, in collaboration with the same publishing house, the author released the concluding book of the Istanbul series, "Love in Istanbul: Heartfelt Adventures in the Most Gastronomic City.[9]"

Today, the writer has numerous projects planned to be achieved in the coming years. She lives a private life and does not give interviews.
